Patzer against Augsburg! Götze annoys Bavaria

Felix Götze punished his former Bayern colleagues with his first Bundesliga goal. The table leader and German soccer series champion had to be content with a 1:1 (0:0) in the derby against a rebellious FC Augsburg. In the 87th minute, the substitute Götze equalized with his chest after a mistake by national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Previously, the superior FC Bayern could defeat the strong Andreas Luthe in the FCA goal in front of 75,000 spectators in the Allianz Arena only once by Arjen Robben (48th). The Munich team of coach Niko Kovac lost the first points on the 5th Bundesliga match day, but still leads the table. FC Augsburg improved to five points.

It’s incredible,” said Götze, the brother of World Cup final goal scorer Mario Götze. He had moved from Munich to Augsburg before the season began. “We knew that something was possible and that we had to give 110 percent. We had set ourselves some goals. That’s what we achieved.” The Bavarians struggled with the first flaw of the season. “My goal doesn’t count,” said Robben. “If you take the lead 1-0, you have to win the game. That must be the decision.”

The goalkeeper change had a positive effect on the guests. “Today Andreas Luthe gets a chance,” said coach Manuel Baum before the match. And the 31-year-old, who got fit in time and replaced Fabian Giefer, who recently failed in two games, radiated security at his season debut in the Bundesliga.

Luthe held out brilliantly several times, for example against Sandro Wagner (42.), who was running alone towards him, Serge Gnabry (44.), who was shooting hard, or Renato Sanches (50.), who finished freely in front of him.

With high running effort and man coverage almost over the whole playing field the guests made combining difficult for the favourite. Bayern coach Kovac had made interesting changes: Wagner was allowed to start the attack for the first time. Sanches came after his strong season debut in the Champions League in the midfield to use. The Portuguese brought in his dynamism, had several good offensive scenes, also concluded several times courageously, but unsuccessfully.

Kovac had devised a completely new location for Leon Goretzka. The international was a left-back and tried to represent David Alaba, who had been spared at first.

The Bavarians were decisive, had a clear chance plus. But the Augsburg players, well adjusted by Baum, lurked for their chance. The best was offered right at the beginning. But Caiuby closed too stubbornly himself instead of serving the free-standing Philipp Max in the penalty area (6th). In return, Thomas Müller hit the post with a deflected shot from a sharp angle (7th).

Kovac ended the experiment with Goretzka during the break. Alaba came. And the Austrian could cheer the leading goal with his colleagues. Wagner played Gnabry the ball into the run. The quick wing forward set off, selflessly serving the seal running along, which kept the overview in the penalty area and hit with his left. Shortly thereafter the strong Luthe prevented against Sanches goal number two.

The high Augsburg effort did not diminish even after the backlog. In the offensive, however, the quality was largely lacking, which FC Bayern has in the person of goal scorer Robben. However, the Munich team did not manage to score a second goal. That was revenge: After a corner ball Neuer slipped the ball through the fingers. Götze then pushed Jeffrey Gouweleeuw’s ball over the goal line with his chest. Racebets Bonus is only focusing on horce racing, so to know more, check this out.

Brenet, Kaderabek and Belfodil shoot Hoffenheim to victory

Hannover 96 continues to slip into the crisis in the Bundesliga. Table 16 lost 1:3 (0:1) against 1899 Hoffenheim on Tuesday evening and is still waiting for the first win of the season after five match days. For 20 minutes 96 in front of 33 500 spectators convinced, after that nothing more ran together. The Champions League participant from Baden used this to score three goals with Joshua Brenet (20.), Pavel Kaderabek (49.) and Ishak Belfodil (90.+4). Hanover only came close to 1:2 (55th) with a penalty kick from Niclas Füllkrug.

It was also not enough to more, because the header of the 96 goal scorer in the 77th minute only hit the post and his goal in the 78th minute was not given because of offside. “It’s not enough to play a half well,” said the only 96-scorer. In stoppage time, Werder Bremen’s newcomer made everything clear for the Hoffenheim team. “If you get three goals at home, that’s of course not good,” said Hanover manager Horst Heldt on Sky TV, but also stressed: “The team gave everything today and tried everything against a team that plays in the Champions League.”

Hoffenheim’s coach Julian Nagelsmann reacted to the great strain in three competitions by changing half the starting formation. Regular goalkeeper Oliver Baumann and national team player Nico Schulz were not even in the squad, they were spared. Instead, Gregor Kobel came to his first Bundesliga mission and goal scorer Brenet to a probation chance. A week ago, the Dutchman had been missing from the Champions League match against Donezk for disciplinary reasons.

Hanover started much braver and more determined than at the 0:2 bankruptcy in Nuremberg. The team of André Breitenreiter played in the first 20 minutes so courageously forward that some spectators even temporarily forgot their mood boycott.

The best chance was 96 in the 17th minute. The former Pirmin Schwegler from Hoffenheim won the game in the penalty area and passed the ball to Ihlas Bebou in front of the goal. However, Ermin Bicakcic’s spectacular rescue action fended off his shot.

Only three minutes later it was 0:1. The goal fell at this time surprisingly, but Hannover completely out of concept. After that, nothing came together for the hosts, while Hoffenheim missed further good chances with the former 96 player Leonardo Bittencourt (35th) and Brenet (37th).

At the beginning of the second half, the Hanover fans ended their mood boycott with a huge choreography – but soon had to accept the next mood damper. Only four minutes after the restart Kaderabek increased with a worth seeing Schlenzer from 18 meters to 2:0 for the guests.

However, there could be no question of a preliminary decision because shortly afterwards the Lower Saxons scored the following goal with a penalty kick. Hoffenheim’s captain Kevin Vogt had pulled the filling jug on his arm – and the foul man himself didn’t want to miss the chance. Within two minutes, the 96-attacker could have even turned the game around, but first he only hit the post, then a goal was rightly not recognised after video evidence because of offside. The host side’s urge phase in the last ten minutes came a little too late – in injury time Hoffenheim even increased it to 3-1. Cheeky bingo is one of the very known online bingo site.

The Meyer misunderstanding! He plays no role at Palace…

When Roy Hodgson talks about Max Meyer (23), you might think that the coach of Premier League club Crystal Palace is showering one of his best players with praise. “I’m very happy with him. He trains really well and we like what we see in him“, Hodgson said recently at the press conference after the game against Newcastle United (0-0).

The ex-Schalker’s game times, on the other hand, speak a completely different language. He had only 63 minutes on the pitch in the first six games and never had the chance to play from the start. In the starting eleven, there is apparently no room for the new player, who is free of charge. Hodgson is counting on the more experienced Luka Milivojevic (27) and James McArthur (30) in the central midfield.

In the goalless draw against Newcastle, the former top talent was replaced in the 64th minute on Saturday. Meyer wasn’t allowed to stand on the pitch for that long on the first matchdays. “In our opinion,” says coach Hodgson, “he is a Premier League player.” He’s trying to wipe away doubts that the way he plays in England might be too fast and, above all, too physical for technician Meyer.

But why Max Meyer doesn’t get a chance right from the start seems incomprehensible. Palace started the season with seven points from six games. And that, although the big teams of the league – with the exception of FC Liverpool – are still waiting for the 11th table of the previous season.

So in the medium term, the relegation battle threatens once again. A sobering prospect for a player who has been associated with teams like FC Barcelona or Paris St. Germain in the past.

At FC Schalke 04 you could use Meyer meanwhile. After the zero-point start, the crisis broke out at the runners-up – and yet the past few weeks have not seen any wistful thoughts of Meyer. After the Schalker 1:2 bankruptcy at Borussia Mönchengladbach, he gave a Like to an Instagram post that announced the bitter result from Schalker’s point of view. A few weeks earlier he had posed for an Instagram picture with BVB newcomer Marius Wolf and thus also attracted the anger of the S04 fans.
