Hannover 96 continues to slip into the crisis in the Bundesliga. Table 16 lost 1:3 (0:1) against 1899 Hoffenheim on Tuesday evening and is still waiting for the first win of the season after five match days. For 20 minutes 96 in front of 33 500 spectators convinced, after that nothing more ran together. The Champions League participant from Baden used this to score three goals with Joshua Brenet (20.), Pavel Kaderabek (49.) and Ishak Belfodil (90.+4). Hanover only came close to 1:2 (55th) with a penalty kick from Niclas Füllkrug.
It was also not enough to more, because the header of the 96 goal scorer in the 77th minute only hit the post and his goal in the 78th minute was not given because of offside. “It’s not enough to play a half well,” said the only 96-scorer. In stoppage time, Werder Bremen’s newcomer made everything clear for the Hoffenheim team. “If you get three goals at home, that’s of course not good,” said Hanover manager Horst Heldt on Sky TV, but also stressed: “The team gave everything today and tried everything against a team that plays in the Champions League.”
Hoffenheim’s coach Julian Nagelsmann reacted to the great strain in three competitions by changing half the starting formation. Regular goalkeeper Oliver Baumann and national team player Nico Schulz were not even in the squad, they were spared. Instead, Gregor Kobel came to his first Bundesliga mission and goal scorer Brenet to a probation chance. A week ago, the Dutchman had been missing from the Champions League match against Donezk for disciplinary reasons.

Hanover started much braver and more determined than at the 0:2 bankruptcy in Nuremberg. The team of André Breitenreiter played in the first 20 minutes so courageously forward that some spectators even temporarily forgot their mood boycott.
The best chance was 96 in the 17th minute. The former Pirmin Schwegler from Hoffenheim won the game in the penalty area and passed the ball to Ihlas Bebou in front of the goal. However, Ermin Bicakcic’s spectacular rescue action fended off his shot.
Only three minutes later it was 0:1. The goal fell at this time surprisingly, but Hannover completely out of concept. After that, nothing came together for the hosts, while Hoffenheim missed further good chances with the former 96 player Leonardo Bittencourt (35th) and Brenet (37th).
At the beginning of the second half, the Hanover fans ended their mood boycott with a huge choreography – but soon had to accept the next mood damper. Only four minutes after the restart Kaderabek increased with a worth seeing Schlenzer from 18 meters to 2:0 for the guests.
However, there could be no question of a preliminary decision because shortly afterwards the Lower Saxons scored the following goal with a penalty kick. Hoffenheim’s captain Kevin Vogt had pulled the filling jug on his arm – and the foul man himself didn’t want to miss the chance. Within two minutes, the 96-attacker could have even turned the game around, but first he only hit the post, then a goal was rightly not recognised after video evidence because of offside. The host side’s urge phase in the last ten minutes came a little too late – in injury time Hoffenheim even increased it to 3-1. Cheeky bingo is one of the very known online bingo site.
